Staff on reception was beyond helpful, food was astonishing having breakfast, afternoon tea and an evening meal in the hotel restaurant and all the food was the highest quality with fantastic hosts and waiting staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from the room, the lounge, the restaurant and the outdoor seating areas overlooking the lake. Overall a breathtaking area with the hotel complimenting the area incredibly well. Spa treatments to top off...

"The stay was booked as a 40th birthday present. From pre arrival to departure we felt very welcomed. The pre arrival information was vary useful. As this was for a birthday break there is an optional extra to have the room decorated and a cake supplied. A very nice surprise for any unsuspecting guest. The owners and staff are very friendly. I have to mention the decor, it's amazingly quirky and very well done, no matter which room you're in you're eye gets drawn to something interesting....
