"We stayed over the Christmas holidays for 2 nights as a family of 4 in a Pirate room. We loved the design of the room, of course as the cheapest room, it was very small, not at all sound proof & some wear and tear eg lots of condensation on windows. But for the excellent price we paid we cannot complain! The children received a festive lego set gift & some sweets in the room. There was a kettle with drinks, a fridge & a hairdryer in the room. "We loved our stay here, mostly because the room was so comfortable. We had windows on two sides with a balcony and a beautiful view, the bed was very comfortable and there were 2 nice extra pillows. The bathroom was excellent, with the most amazing shower and nice towels. Breakfast was very good too with a large selection of items. "

"Location in park like setting very desirable- still very close to center of town. Nearly adjacent to Aqua and Jorn Museum. Grounds just lovely, tranquil. Rooms attractive though small. Hotel restaurant food only sampled at breakfast, but was good. Lovely terrace for breakfast in good weather. "

"Comfortable stay in a nice room. I prefer my bed made for me rather than folded under a cover. I slept in and arrived 10mins before breakfast ended and very little was left. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable, though better coffee and a hairdryer is needed. "

"I stayed here for 3 nights on a work trip. The room was fantastic, spacious with a mini kitchenette. Very handy. Bed was really comfortable to sleep in and there was a nice sized table to sit at in the evening. Staff at reception were fantastic!! However, it's MASSIVELY confusing when you first arrive because nowhere on Hotels.com does it tell you that the Kirk Suites are part of the Zsleep hotel adjoining them. So when you're looking for the Kirk Suites reception, there isn't one!! You can't...

"Property was lovely and couldn’t fault it. It was further out than we realised so travelling to the airport/legoland was about £60 each way. But if your driving it’s a lovely place. "

"It was a good choice for staying over, kitchen was clean and useful and the rooms were decent, though a little dusty. Outdoor space is nice to have coffee in the morning. The surrounding area is very nice for walk, run, bike or dogs. "

Legoland hotel in Christmas hols

"We stayed over the Christmas holidays for 2 nights as a family of 4 in a Pirate room. We loved the design of the room, of course as the cheapest room, it was very small, not at all sound proof & some wear and tear eg lots of condensation on windows. But for the excellent price we paid we cannot complain! The children received a festive lego set gift & some sweets in the room. There was a kettle with drinks, a fridge & a hairdryer in the room. The hotel itself is beautifully designed & exciting, with lots of indoor activities, lego & gaming areas. They run 3 competitions daily which are worth entering with the chance of winning a Lego prize. The festive decor added to the charm. In the Christmas holidays, the only restaurant open was the Panaroma restaurant. This is a gorgeous restaurant with delicious food but dinner is a very expensive buffet! The food I think is reasonable but the drinks were ridiculously priced & the waiters upsell “rainbow cocktails” for the kids for about £8 each-totally unnecessary. They also charge £5 for a jug of tap water!! In the brick bar, you can order food up until 5pm (kids chicken nuggets & Lego chips are 99Kr/£11 ish). Breakfast was included in the room price we paid & was excellent! The hotel is literally opposite legoland & there is a special entrance. Note entrance to legoland is not included in the standard room price. Legoland is small to walk around but packed full of rides & looked beautiful at Christmas time."
