"This was a good functional stay. Room clean but dated. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom tired but clean. The spa was excellent. Staff could have been more cheerful. The fire alarm went off at 4 a.m.and as we prepared to leave our room it stopped. No one contacted us to reassure or apologise. We had breakfast. Very average and again, staff were scarce and not that cheerful. 'Sit where you like and help yourself; its through there '. We also stayed for dinner. Decent menu but food average....

"Brilliant bed and a very good sleep which is the main thing. Room and bathroom a little tired but perfectly good. Friendly desk staff at check in and check out. Excellent central location. "
