Sadly, I came when the fog had descended on the area so I couldn't see the stunning views, but I have been to the area numerous times and know they are breathtaking. I loved that the Epesses train stop was 3 minutes from the hotel (be aware there are a lot of steps to get there). "A nice university hotel for visitors to Lausanne, but a bit sterile and the suites lack a dividing wall. Rooms are very upscale, but the dinner menu is rather limited (yet everything I tried was fantastic). Hard spot to reach, and you need some sort of vehicle toget from here to anywhere else."
