"Golden Pearl er et flott hotell til en fornuftig pris. Flott uteområde rett på stranden med mange solsenger. Betjeningen er imøtekommende, men det oppsto her som mange andre steder i Sri Lanka en del kommunikasjonsproblemer grunnet dårlig engelsk forståelse. Fantastisk meny på kjøkkenet, men vi visste knapt at de hadde en før avreise, så informasjonen til gjestene burde vært bedre."

"Very relaxing stay next to the lagoon but also an easy walk to the beach. Only one restaurant was open aged that was on the beach so a bit of a trek when it rained. My room looked out on to a corridor which wasn’t ideal and the sealant around bathroom fittings was black with mildew. But largely these are minor details to a comfortable and relaxing stay at a fair price."

"If you are looking for a dose of peace & quiet, this is it. Long empty beaches, palm trees, the occasional monkey, orchids in the garden. The staff was very friendly. There are only 12 rooms, so theres a familiar feel in staying here. The rooms and grounds were very clean. The view from my room was spectacular. "Friendly staff and facilities at the hotel are good. Nearest beach is a rocky beach. Last few KM of the road leading to the hotel is very poor. This section needs to upgrade and possibly out of hotel managements' control. They may need to coordinate with the neighboring hotels and the local authority. However, signs leading to the hotel from the main road is not very clear. Google maps lead to a circuitous route. Need to upgrade the signs leading to the hotel in every junction and this is...
