"Perfect Central Location. Across the street from the main train station. Easy access to/from the airport via express train. One of the best breakfast setups I think I’ve ever seen. The breakfast is worth a stay just to experience it. "

"I now stay fairly regularly at the Karl Johan for work, the rooms are spacious enough and have good amenities (iron, ironing board, good shower) and the breakfast is always fantastic. The gym facilities are also in good condition and it is a good space to use."

"The hotel was such good value. 24hr reception was great as we had been delayed so didn't arrive until 1am. The breakfast offering is huge, there's something for everyone. The rooms are a little tired, but the beds are incredibly comfortable. There are no kettles in the room but there's a coffee machine in the foyer (charged), and you can purchase cup noodles from reception and they will provide hot water."

"The rooms are quite small, for people with large suitcases. Other than that, they are minimal, which is good for creatives. I don't know what the leafy decor with the led lights is about; that could be improved."

"The property itself is beautiful and in a great location, but there were some significant downsides to my stay. First, the room was a disappointment. It looked nothing like the photos advertised, it was very basic and lacked the charm or luxury I was expecting based on the images. Additionally, the design of the hotel is not practical for travelers with luggage. There are stairs in the hallway, which made carrying my suitcase incredibly inconvenient. "Good quality hotel in an excellent location for Oslo city centre and all that is on offer. It was a little strange that the check-in desk is also the bar! Further, there were times when the staff were busy elsewhere meaning both check-in and bar were unattended which was not completely satisfactory. However, all the staff were excellent and helpful. "Great hotel, located right next to the central train station in Oslo, making it really handy to get around the city! I travelled solo and had a room to myself which was a room with a single bed which was perfectly adequate and very comfortable. My only gripe (very small) was that my tea and coffee and cup were not replaced when the room was cleaned. Coffee is available in reception so I just grabbed one there instead. "Everything was good just the rooms are quite small with kids. Hotel and receptionist are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely only problem was to find table even we booked a slot to avoid the crowd. But overall was good holiday. "
