"Great location, right by the Salzburg train & bus station. This was only a short bus ride into the ‘old town’. Area around hotel felt safe. Rooms are in need of refurbishment but still quite adequate. Bath room needs improvement as shower is within the bath & could be an issue for some people to use. "Our room was across the road from the main hotel on the top floor, the family room was huge, 2 bathrooms, really nice. The gym and pool are also very good. The area is good to start a walk down the slight hill towards the river. Lots of shops and places to eat. Good cafes for coffee and of course apple strudel. The castle above Salzburg is worth a visit with a great view of the snowy mountains. The Christmas market was very nice with plenty of stalls."
