"We stayed over during winter time (December) to check ou the Hotel for an event in May. The surroundings are gorgeous and you can feel the calm of Alentejo right in. The food is absolutely delicious and staff very friendly and available. A note: majority of the rooms does not have bathroom door, which came a bit as a surprise. The suites do have door but are in need of a little TLC in the bathroom to bring it to a 5* review hotel. Overall a lovely stay and will be able to stay again!"

"If you wanted to have a family camping trip in season, this would be a great place. For us, it was not a good experience at all. Although free WiFi is advertised, it doesn’t state that it is only available in the office or the store. The restaurant was closed the days we were to be there…also not disclosed. Our cards needed to enter and exit the site never worked properly, so thankfully there was someone there to let us in. Our cabin was clean, but had a residual scent I believe from the...

The rural setting of the hotel has the beach, Roman archaeological sites and other places to visit within 30 minutes of the hotel. The food was awesome. Joan and team prepare and serve extravagant meals bursting with flavor. You can't possibly go hungry."
