"My partner and I had a wonderful stay here for 3 days, we had no issues at all. The location is very central to Frome, so we didn't have to walk far to get to the places we wanted to visit. I read in other reviews that the car park is small and difficult to park in, so we parked in other carparks near. "This hotel is fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and worthy of its 4-star rating. The buffet breakfast is excellent, and I absolutely loved the blackout curtains. The staff are great, the beds are super comfy, and the bathroom was nice. Plus, it's just a 10-minute drive from Stonehenge. I would have given it 5 stars if the shower hose in our room hadn't been broken. Although the staff accommodated us by allowing us to use a bathroom in a different room, it was a bit inconvenient. "

"It's not every day you can say you stayed in a 16th century hotel. Of course getting to the room is tricky unless you have balance on wonky floors & stairs. But it's character features, bit of creaky floorboards. The room was fairly modern but was surprised no telephone which I needed. Had to shut the window to sleep to cut down outside noises but not totally. Food was good, restaurant was full, staff friendly. Unique experience."

"Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely."
