"We enjoyed our one night stay that included a nice breakfast. We stayed in a comfort room which is very small but adequate for just one night. It had all the necessities including a hair dryer. The pub menu is good and we were happy the staff could provide a dinner on a Sunday evening. "

"Lovely historic building, with stylish and welcoming interiors in all rooms and a lovely roaring fire in the reception area. Lots of nice comfy sofas and seating areas. Bedroom was very comfortable, nicely decorated, the en suite was modern and well maintained. Dinner menu was delicious, with attentive and curteous waiting on tables. Breakfast was also exemplary. We only stayed for one night but would happily have stayed longer if we could. "

"We arrived at the Ship on quite a grey day, but the welcome from the staff soon cheered us up. We chose the ship because it was dog friendly and isn't it just every other person had a dog with them and you can take them anywhere. Our room was at the back with wonderful views over the sea. A ramp leads down to the beach. The room was a nice double with ensuite shower etc. Rooms not massive but this is av ery old building so it was as we expected. "Fabulous dog-friendly cosy pub with rooms. Had a lovely ground floor room with a very nice wet room. Could eat in the bar area with our dog and the food was excellent and very creative. Lovely walk right from the door around the salt marshes and each access to other areas along the coast. Would highly recommend"
