"We went for one night as a Christmas present. Was really looking forward to using the spa. A bit disappointed as we could hardly find a spot to put our robes & towel as it was packed. Not the hotels fault though as I think a few guests were staying as they had no electricity or water, due the extreme storm we had. Couldn’t use the outdoor pool or go on a walk in the grounds because of this. Will just have to come back, hopefully. Staff are all lovely and so was the food."

"Start to finish a truly wonderful experience for my wife's 70th.birthday, unfortunately the breakfast was a bit of a let down ie. My wife's French toast was cold and my fried egg was frazzled, definitely the worst fried egg in Ireland. The egg makes the fry. Booked a table for 7pm Saturday evening. "Visiting family and got to see the home my grandmother grew up in! The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and our stay was comfortable. The “pool” was definitely not for relaxing. It’s an exercise club and lap swimming was intense. The sauna was awesome though! Food was excellent!"

"The staff, especially Robert were really friendly, hospitality and nothing was too much for them to do every request was replied with “no bother”. We arrived earlier than the check in time and as the room was ready they checked us in. They also allowed us an extra 30 minutes late check out. The breakfast was very delicious, the smoothie was made with banana but the chefs were happy to make one for me with bananas. Overall it’s was a good stay. The staff’s pleasantness was the best. "

"The staff are friendly but I had an issue with the shower being lukewarm to cold which was very disappointing when you stay at a hotel. I didn’t have a shower because the water was not warm enough. The food is good. On my previous stay the shower was just fine but at this time wasn’t and they didn’t offer to change rooms as they didn’t rectify the problem. "
