"We had come to Klagenfurt for a parkrun and had no idea what to expect. The hotel was currently changing brands so we dropped bags off as one chain but checked in as a different hotel chain. "We booked a “3 bedroom” unit at 50% higher price and were put in a 2 bedroom unit. In the morning I was told that the fold-out bed in the living/dining area counted as the 3rd “bedroom”. The bed wasn’t made up for us and we three adults wanted our own bedroom as promised. Secondly, the “free WiFi” will not let you connect unless you agree to have your details shared with others for marketing purposes. No thanks, too much spam now and I’ve never been forced to share my info before. "

They took care of this by giving us an additional room. However, a full month after my stay I was charged a second time for some unknown reason and the hotel does not answer their phone, return calls, nor reply to emails to resolve the issue."

"Our stay at the Gasthof zur Post was all we could have hoped for. The Kramer family and their staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were excellent with lots of fresh food on offer at the buffet with the option of freshly cooked items too.
