"Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did. "

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft erschrocken über den Zustand des Objektes! Es ist nicht - wie beschrieben - renoviert und saniert, sondern sanierungsbedürftig. Es war in einem Zustand, dass wir erstmal eine Stunde geputzt und jedes Geschirr, das wir nutzen wollten, gespült haben. "Awesome place, great breakfast. Beautiful area. The playground is fantastic and has a zip line. There is a rail connected right to the property. This is a can't miss for nature lovers and a great home base for exploring the Rhineland palatine area"

"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "

"The location of this hotel near the Nürburgring Grand Prix track which is perfect for race fans, especially on an event weekend. The hotel has an amazing race theme, and food is great! The only issue with the hotel was that the bathroom didn't have a door, but otherwise an amazing hotel."

"Don’t take my rankings for this hotel meaning it is bad. But we have been in Germany for over two weeks and have stayed at 6 other hotels, and this was the one that just didn’t meet the same standards. It is in a great area and the room was pretty clean, but they do need a good amount of maintenance. The coat rack fell out of the wall, there was a missing magnifying mirror in the bathroom (just a post coming out of the wall with nothing attached). I was hoping for better for the price and the...
