"I booked 2 rooms, mine was very clean and comfortable. My friends room had not been cleaned, there was condoms in the bin, no bottle of water as it had been used and no staff to contact to change room!!!"

"Due to the holiday season, reception closed at 15:00 hours, so check in was thru an envelope. Rooms are very spacious, bed and showers are good, but it is an ancient structure and building, so don’t expect modern rooms or furniture. Staff when available was very helpful. Great to walk around the area. "

"Beautiful location. Unique boutique hotel next to the lake. The room (Cocoon Junior Suite) had spacious balcony with outdoor tub and peaceful view across the lake to distant mountains. Some problems with the prototype design of certain features such a bathroom taps but there was a form to fill in if anything needed fixing. It did! And they were promptly fixed. "The La Couronne is in a great location in the middle of the main part of Solothurn, close to shops and local amenities (unfortunately, most of which are closed due to Covid). Car parking is at an off-site local car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel but is expensive. We paid over CHF 43 for around 36 hours.
