"The apartment we stayed in was great. It was much more spacious than I expected and had everything we needed. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit to catch up on laundry during our trip around the south island. My wife was bothered by the incense or scented oil smell they used here. "This place was beautiful, comfortable and wonderfully outfitted with lovely linens and decor. It’s very private and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with a very easy short walk to a beautiful park with trails, sculptures and a rose garden. "The situation in a woodland property was nice. The interior was nice , although probably more rustic than luxury. It was good to have an open fire, because the living area was cold without it : perhaps a heat pump as well would be a good idea. We had to get lots more firewood from the woodpile especially kindling as we lit the fire each morning and evening. The living area was quite dark. "Arrived on a bleak Invercargill day, completely underdressed for the weather, was invited for early check in so i could get changed. upon arrival the heater had been switched on so the room was nice and warm. Room was cosy, warm and clean. Parking was great. Highlight of staying here was the hosts, they were attentive, friendly and had some great recommendations on food and activities.
