"A nice hotel option, upscale, architecturally a bit severe but with a very nice view of the mountains (not so much the lake). Overall, the neighborhood is very safe but unattractive: EPFL is not a campus notable for its grade, and the hotel has some sort of muddy field behind it (but with a path you can follow to walk on the side of the lake, which I recommend). "Very happy with our stay overall. Just one suggestion. In bedrooms where you have instead of king size beds single beds placed next to each other, they tend to move and a gap opens between them. Perhaps they can be locked together so they remain in place. Another very minor comment, the breakfast room needs to also have big spoons for those eating cereals. Perhaps they were there, but we couldn’t find one. Again, much enjoyed our stay, thank you to your staff, will certainly be back."

"We were warmly greeted by the Chateau staff who were extremely pleasant and courteous. The history and charm of the Chateau could quickly be felt upon arrival and did not disappoint for the rest of our stay! The grounds were well manicured and blooming beautifully at this time of the year. I highly recommend a romantic weekend getaway for two using the spa facilities if ever in the area! "
