"This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times have been consistently great. Very clean, helpful hotel staff (high level of English in case you do not speak French), nicely appointed rooms. Great location. As a bonus I was able to get into room early which was so helpful after overnight flight. "

"The hotel is well located (from My point of view). The Champagne houses are very close (we had a car). The staff is very nice and they respond very quickly if you have any demands. Some of the staff does not speak English. Room size is perfect. Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. "

"I really appreciate it the spacious rooms and the central location. Unfortunately we found a large piece of glass under the bed which means the cleaning crew did not do a thorough job. If anyone had accidentally stepped on it, it would most likely have ended up in a trip to the hospital to get stitches. I showed it to the staff at the front desk and all I got was an “oh, I am sorry “. "

"This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "

"This was one of the best places to stay at. I've been coming to Epernay for years as my mothers family is from the area and never thought I would stay on the Ave de Champagne! Without a doubt I will come back. Being able to go to the farmers market on Saturday and buy so many wonderful fresh foods to cook and enjoy in a home setting was nice. We had already been in France for 2 1/2 weeks and as much as I love to eat out I enjoyed having the option to cook. The owner met us at the apartment to go...
