"We had a great stay at Cornhill Castle. Alice at reception welcomed us and let us know she would be available for any further assistance if required. I did ask if the heating could be turned up in our room as it was particularly cold. This was dealt with immediately by offering us another room or a mini electric radiator. We opted for the latter. The Dining room and bar area were also both cold so I'm not sure if there had been a problem with the heating system. It didn't spoil our stay though. "

"Staff extremely helpful under tricky conditions. With storm we had no electricity from 8am on 24th and still not connected this morning when I left. Staff put on a log stove in Bistro,managed to do teas n coffees on small gas heater, supplied good battery lamps for each resident, Manager even carefully drove in evening into part of Lanark with power and brought back a meal for an older person staying for BnB, She would not take money for that. Ever staff member there did much more that needed...

"Beautiful cottage stay for our small family for a New Year break. We arrived to a lovely gift and Christmas decorations around the home which made it extra special. Beautifully well kept, helpful but not overly involved hosts and a splendid location."
