"The property was decent. The air conditioning barely worked and being there in the August heat was very tough. The fridge barely made the water cold. We had to get our own water as the hotel did not provide any bottles. There was a kettle to make coffee but no coffee to make. Otherwise, the hotel was decent with an alright breakfast. Not sure I would stay there again though."

They asked me to cancel the reservation from my end which involves a long and tedious process. The intermediary app kept calling the hotel asking them to confirm that they are indeed asking me to cancel, and they denied it. They wasted a few hours of my life trying to get this refund and kept saying they didn’t email me asking...

"We were 4 adults in a 2 bedroom suite. The suite was very large with a full living room, kitchen, dining and balcony. More like a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very clean and also recently updated. Very nice. The staff were also very nice. My only reason for 4 stars was that the AC system is quite noisy and the pillows very big and hard. Otherwise a very good value for money. "
