"Lovely Hotel and the staff were wonderful. We were visiting friend's for the weekend and the hotel was very convenient for us to see them. We chose the hotel because of the location near our friends village, its a great hotel but not somewhere I would choose to stay otherwise as the location meant going everywhere in a car and the surrounding roads were very busy and noisey. "Excellent service from check in onwards. The delightful, professional and helpful Nadia heard my concerns about needing a quiet room and adjusted the booking accordingly. Sounds simple but it’s very rare for staff to take the request seriously! It made all the difference to me. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds to wander in and a great breakfast which I really appreciated, as I hadn’t booked it. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend! "

"Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Only one person on the reception desk who was on the phone so had to wait a while to check in. Was told it was room only despite my insistence that breakfast was included. Eventually she found the booking and agreed that breakfast was included By this time, there were several couples waiting to check in. Our room was in a separate annexe which was lovely but unfortunately the walls between the rooms were very thin. We had several people trying our door....
