"We booked a room but were upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. We were celebrating a birthday so the hotel very kindly laid on some lovely cakes for us in the room. The suite was roomy, comfortable and well appointed. A USB point would be a good edition to the room. Fresh water was supplied and despite being city centre the room was quiet."

"Great location near train station approx 6-10min walk depending on your mobility. We booked a twin room which was comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. No doubt the room could do with some maintenance and a refresh. The doors loudly squeaked which wasnt great if going to the loo during the night. The bathroom door didnt have a working lock and whilst you could adjust the heat in the bedroom you couldn't turn down the heat in the bathroom and with such a small room it...

"Great 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price.. Nice reasonably price restaurant and nice bar. Breakfast was superb and the tiny waitress from Thailand who was there was great, a wonderful personality. Only drawback was the lift was not working and they tried to put us on the 3td floor, my wife just cannot do that many stairs so I asked for a room on a lower floor which ended up behind an upgrade at no extra cost.
