"Fantastic setting with really well finished, self contained units comprising of the bedroom with sofa and vanity table. A fridge was provided with mini-bar items. A few too many spiders for my liking but we were in the countryside. Some work had been carried out on the bathroom ceiling but a patch job had been done to cover it. The bed was comfy, shower was great and the breakfast in the restaurant was top notch. I can imagine how lovely this would be to stay at in the Summer."

"The saunton sands hotel is fantastic. the only issue i has is that i could only afford to book a single room for the week and when i got there they were kind enough to upgrade me for free to a double room, the room its self for £795 for 4 nights in March i thought was a little underwhelming. "Gorgeous cottage with lots of character, low ceilings in areas but you soon learnt to dodge. All part of the character. Stair banister rail stunning character made from drift wood. All rooms on suite so no fighting over bathrooms and a jacuzzi bath downstairs. The owners were very welcoming and full book with instructions on arrival. As well as lots of ideas of places to visit. Fresh milk in the fridge on arrival and the added dry herbs etc in the kitchen added to the homely feel for the week....
