"Being out of main season, the hotel was quiet and not all facilities such as the pool were open. Our room was comfortable and spacious and, despite not being a designated sea view room, we could see the sea from our balcony. Staff were efficient and friendly. As we were visiting friends in the area, we didn’t use the restaurant. There were pleasant areas to sit inside the hotel and in the well kept grounds. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and close to the commercial centre....

"We had a lovely 1- night half board stay at the Alegria palacio Mojacar. The food exceeded expectations. Staff lovely, drinks prices reasonable. We watched some Flamenco dancing in the hotel bar with a cocktail. Spa quite unique,2 saunas, a steam room and many different jets to discover in the pool €15 each for 90 minutes slot. Only downside is that nothing much else is in walking distance apart from the beach and a small supermarket. "

"Love this hotel, have stayed there many times over the years. It's clean, comfortable and rooms are well equipped. It offers excellent value for money. Our only criticisms are the very loud dining hall. You could almost do with ear plugs when its' full with everyone shouting. And a warning to those parking their cars there - the outside parking is quite limited, with cars squeezing in where are no spaces.
