"The Escalante is excellente! A real haven right on 5th Avenue and an easy walk to the beach although you don’t need to walk as they provide a cart to take you. The pool area is great too and as there aren’t many rooms, it was easy to get comfortable sun loungers. I have stayed at major chain hotels all over the world and our stay at the Escalente was right up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. "The condo is a great place to stay, close to Goodland and everything that Marco Island has to offer. There is a very nice walking path to the Goodland Bridge. Nature is just out the door. The renovation of the mangroves is interesting. Marta is very hospitable, prompt, and easy to work with."

"We had an amazing time on Marco Island, it is so peaceful, a really wonderful place to take the family. The house was great, beautiful views from the living room, and pool. The pool was big and accommodating for the kids. It’s a heated pool so it was great for swimming in December. The house is so close to Tigertail Beach which as the best shelling by far! We probably found 50 sand dollars. If you go early at low tide you likely will so an unbelievable number of starfish, look in the tide...
