"Decided to upgrade to a cathedral view. For the small amount extra to pay this is an absolute must. The view is amazing. Staff were all really friendly, Good choice for breakfast including items cooked to order, best Eggs benedict I have ever had. The room was refurbished and really welcoming, wonderful shower. the only down side is the lift, straight out of the 50's clunked and banged and occasionally we had to press the "Open Door" button. The hotel is absolutely ideally placed for visiting...

Our room is in need of redecorating after what looks like an old damp issue from a water leak outside the bathroom but didn’t cause us any issues.
