"We had an excellent 6 nights at Lato. The property is very well maintained. Someone is always cleaning! The breakfast is delicious with MANY items from which to choose! Staff is quick and attentive. We ate a few times in the hotel restaurant. Our meals were excellent. The wine list is short but selective and reasonably priced. The wait staff were highly attentive and professional. Their thoughtfulness added to the positives of our meals."

"Such a welcome! The people running this hotel are very friendly. I visited end of October with my 10y daughter. She could play in the kids club twice a day (except Wednesday) and has a little kids disco in the evening. There isn’t much to do in the resort so this is a ‘quiet, relaxing holiday’ the beach area behind the hotel was lovely. If you want any ‘life’ Heraklion is 15min cab away for €14 with lots of shops and restaurants. I loved this holiday. "

The hotel is in the centre of the city, ideal for sightseeing and restaurants, but in a very built up area. It’s was very tidy but room cleaning is sparodic . We had a superior swim up room which was very nice but would choose a room further away from the pool bar next time and we had very noisy neighbours ( not the hotels fault- but couldn’t change rooms so lack of sleep ruined it a little for us) Would definitely go back"
