"One of the prettiest resorts on the island! The suites are well laid-out and the nearby hiking path to the tide pools is great! Staff was very helpful. On the downside, the location is isolated and Carambola's dining choices are overpriced and not very good. Their food is average at best. "The view is spectacular! The ground floor apartment is directly at the oceans edge with a large patio. That being said, there are no lounge chairs and the furniture that they do have is not ocean worthy. They need to upgrade. The apartment itself is good enough as a base but should be scrubbed clean. Pots and pans dirty, shower in spare bathroom was rusting, etc. We needed the electrician, and he came in a day to fix the Stove/Oven. So, two thumbs up for communication. "Close to beach. Seaweed a problem but taken care of daily if not creates an odor. Few bugs taken care of by the exterminator. Roaches. Was told this condo had been closed up. S Overall the stay was nice."
