"Everything was amazing: the quick and friendly check-in, the helpful staff member who escorted us to our room with the luggage, and the room with the hot tub was clean, comfortable, and perfect for large families – probably one of the best family rooms I've stayed in. I was initially concerned about the salty water in the pools, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The check-out process was also quick, and the kind front desk lady was very accommodating with my late check-out request."

I use crutches and found it a struggle to get around and felt trapped in a pretty prison. My room was spotless and serviced every day as was the hotel. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Ariadne Beach Hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and well equipped with terrific views of Mirabello Bay. We were half-board and the food was fantastic and the waiting staff just lovely. The beautiful Gargadoros beach is only a short stroll away on which we spent many happy days. We will definitely be returning!"

"This hotel has the makings of a great place to holiday. It is close to the resort, just a five minute walk on the flat. The rooms are adequate, may be not 4* and quite dark, certainly not as they appear on the website. Breakfast is ok but is the same every day and after a week is a bit repetitive. Bathrooms great as not all in Greece are. Main letdown was the sunbeds which were very uncomfortable and need replacing to a 4* hotel standard. There isnt enough of them either, but there isn't...

"The initial impression of the place is deceptive; it seems nice but falls short. The door was flimsy, made of cardboard (seriously) the handle came off within 1 hour of me arriving and no one was around to ask for help, and remained broken for three days. Despite constant promises, it was only fixed after I contacted Expedia directly. The shower was both dirty and partially dysfunctional. "Lovely hotel set above street level so little noise especially around the beautiful pool area. Breakfasts were amazing in form of help yourself buffet. We didn’t eat there at night but apparently very good restaurant. We can preferred to go into Agios Nicholas in the evening where there is a bustling night life but also went to Olga’s a couple of times just a very short walk from the hotel. "This is a beautiful hotel. It is in a very busy, touristy area, but the hotel itself is serene and beautiful. We had an awesome stay. We loved the spa, and there was a waitress (she’s the one most often working the bar, she has long brown hair and braves) who is SO sweet. She made our whole trip with her attentiveness and kindness. We would be back if we went back to Crete. "
