"Located in the old town of Durlach, we had free parking on the street every night, right near the hotel. I've never been in a hotel where everything in the mini bar is complimentary ! Beer, water, soda, coffee, was free of charge, Prima! if you choose to decline housekeeping, they give you a 5 Euro gift card each day to spend at the bar. Nice touch. I did have to ask for a second blanket as the one in room was rather small. other than that, nice place, very Quiet, clean, and staff helped us find...

"The property was beautiful. We stayed in the back building. Unfortunately the heat did not work in one of the rooms we stayed in. The Hotel tried their best to get it working at night and when they couldn’t, they issued us a full refund in the morning. They were very helpful."

"Lovely traditional German hotel with delicious food in a beautiful setting on the edge of the woods where you can spend hours walking and hiking. Our room may be been considered a mini suite, as it contained a very spacious sitting area as well as a balcony. We enjoyed the gourmet restaurant very much (reservations needed) but even the regular restaurant was delicious. "Friendly and helpful staff at a nice hotel in a quiet corner of the Black Forest. Dining was very good, and while the breakfast was not elaborate it was tasty and staff kept the buffet stocked even during a morning rush. All in all a good value."
