"Checking in was easy. The hostess escorted us to the room since this was an older Inn. The room looked very cozy. The rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable, with plenty of pillows. There is a pub with this inn. One frustrating thing; for 2 of the 3 nights we were there, other guests were loud, slamming doors, fighting in the hall, disregarding other guests. First night of disturbance was through 1:00am; and second night was after 2:00am. "

While we only stayed the night, we enjoyed tge property and surrounding area immensely. Visiti g from Canada, we didn't know what to anticipate in Ireland but not one aspect of our trip was sub par or exaggerated. "Beautiful B&B in a lovely area only a short driving distance from Waterford City. I had a large, comfortable room - everything was pristinely clean, and the shower was superb. Breakfast was a real treat, with an excellent variety on the menu, and tiny home made (warm!) scones accompanying whatever you chose. The guest lounge was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, cutlery and delph, comfortable couches, and a 'drop and swap' area for books. I would highly recommend a stay in Samuel's...

"Very cosy and relaxed country house. Our deluxe room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Lighting was good. The breakfast is really good except for anaemic, American style coffee. The offer of a decent double esspresso or americano would make it perfect. This is an ideal one night stop before or after a ferry sailing. "
