"Reception speaks English barely. Located in the outskirts of Penafiel. Restsurant was closed for dinner. Spa costs 25€ per person!!! No guest used it. Expensive, not VFM."

"Very peaceful, clean and quiet with amazing wines. The lady who ran the bar and restaurant was very knowledgeable and helpful making sure we made the right choices for food. We didn't realise breakfast was included but even though we were checking out after breakfast had finished they provided us with free coffee and pastries before we left. Only slight negative is access to the hotel for disabled people could do with improving. "
