"We originally had Airbnb accommodations for that night. When we arrived we did NOT feel safe so I had to make immediate reservations. My niece came across Hotel Ibaïa and we booked a reservation. It was beautifully designed, spotless and very quiet. We had an extremely long and stressful day and needed to be somewhere safe. We walked along the beach, ordered a pizza not too far away. "The service was poor. I stayed a week and the room was never cleaned! Even though I asked several times. The bathroom was broken and didn’t flush for two days and they didn’t fix it. After several times/two days of me asking them to change me to a different room they did. "

"Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"

"A good and comfortable bed, a large room with shared balcony, and a large bathroom are positives for this property. On the negative side, the shower was hand-held, with half glass door so the floor will get wet. The young woman behind the front desk at check-in had an attitude, and when I asked about a room on the ground floor instead of walking up the rounded stairway - the hotel was empty, (I explained I had an issue with stairs, she literally laughed at me).
