"We chose this hotel because of our desire to get off the main highway as night drew in. Our first impression of the hotel was coloured by our tiredness and its busy location. "A historic and charming location and domain; efficient, friendly and personalized service; excellent quality standards. Rooms and bathrooms are big and comfortable. The restaurant is a real plus. Delicious food, wine and impeccable service for an overall affordable price. One minus: the spa is not free of charge (this should be said in the description in hotels.com) and it costs the ludicrous amount of 60 euros for 50 minutes. Despite that, a much recommended hotel. "I entered Damian hotel in troffalero italy The hotel is very very dark The rooms are very very dark I was not asked to register My car was parked on site with a big metal gate controlled only by the owner I was therefore Unable to leave at 4 am as planned as my car was locked behind the gate I decided to forfeit my booking and leave before using the room Despite a request for a refund I had to pay for the night in full This is not a hotel it's a joke Please never stay at hotel Damian "
