"This hotel is very beautiful, but food is very limited with little variety. The breakfast was just different types of granola, eggs, lunch meat, and rolls! No toast or pastries which was very odd. The restaurant at night offers salads, fish, and chicken all with risotto which was also bizarre since most German food comes with potatoes. Besides lacking in food choices, this hotel has tons of stairs! Be prepared to cart your luggage up and down them since there are no elevators. Very remote...

"Lovely old style hotel, we had a large room with a very comfortable bed, modern wood furniture, nice new bathroom with walk-in shower. the house has a beautiful park/garden on the shores of the lake. breakfast was brought to the table and not fantastic, as there were few guests it probably was not worth having the buffet but choice and quality could be better. other than that highly recommended hotel."

"I arrived at 3pm when the restaurant was closed i was really hungry and asked if they could make me a snack. The receptionist called tge restaurant and they opened ot for me and i was offered everything on the menu."

"It is in the grounds of a castle, you can walk around the grounds. he road to it can be easily missed but as it is in a small village you will not get lost. The hotel is new , the bed was a little too hard for my liking. I had to change room as the room was not made up but the staff sorted me out with a new room quickly. the top class restaurant next door in the chateau by the moat is was not open on the day i went but the hotel has a limited but very good food. However, the Fitness room needs some proper maintenance. Water rower out of water, Spin bikes barely moving, Weight stand bend, .. Nothing serious, but unexpected in a pricey 4* Hotel. Same is true for the Sauna Area. Like the knobs to hang your bathrobe/towel are either gone, or super loose. Again, it does function and I had a few Sauna...

"Prachtige omgeving, prima geschikt om te wandelen. Stil, redelijk afgelegen. Nette, verzorgde kamers. Leuk restaurant en terras; menu met typisch duitse kaart. Hotelpersoneel kwam wat ongeïnteresserd over; restaurantpersonnel meer betrokken. Prima ontbijtbuffet met ruime keuze. "
