"A pleasure to stay right in the middle of town near the concerts and the town and gardens! Breakfast was lovely each morning with pleasant staff. Some front staff, “patrick”? Not sure of first name Was especially helpful with securing taxis etc. "

"The hotel is a collection of very old buildings that have been developed into a luxury hotel In a really sympathetic manner. Our room was spotlessly clean & really comfortable and the bathroom was fabulous with a lovely bath and a truly excellent shower. The hotel has a smallish (but very enjoyable to swim in) indoor pool & a gym and wellness centre, though we didn’t have the chance to try these. There is an excellent outdoor tennis court & table tennis table and plenty of free onsite parking....

"Very quiet setting. Beautiful building and attention to interior details. Extremely clean room. Outstanding breakfast. A feast for the eyes. Didn’t find the check-in staff very friendly. Just business-like. But all the positives made up for that small deficit."
