"The property is beautiful and straddles the Douro River. The roads are not really walkable - narrow, no sidewalks. The breakfast was great. The restaurants lunch and dinner was mediocre. "I want to point out that the only thing positive in our stay was the sympathy of the staff, all the other areas didn't go well. First of all, they gave us an accessible room that was not shown in the photos, whenever I went to the bathroom it looked like I was in a hospital. The floor had stains all over the carpet and the AC didn't work. Don't recommend it. "

"We absolutely loved our stay at Quinta da Marka! It was beautiful and on such a picturesque spot along the river. It was so relaxing and a restful spot for our honeymoon. The train station is nearby to get to other cities if you wanted to, otherwise it is quite isolated in this area. Walking over to Quinta do Crasto for a wine tasting & tour was a highlight of the area too! The Quinta offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner which was very convenient. Angela was so helpful in getting us checked in...
