"Loved the location near the Loire river and chateau. Restaurant and bar were severely understaffed. Secure parking was available."

"Room was pleasant and clean, staff were friendly. Was slightly further out of town than expected (walk of approx 20 mins) so one evening went to a restaurant just around the corner instead (there looked to be a couple of decent options.) Pool was reasonable. "

I was informed by the director that the lumps were special for comfort and that all beds have this special mattresses. I was told to turn off the air conditioning when not in the room. This is unexpected in a highly-rated four star hotel. The staff seems to believe that guests are fortunate to stay."

"The room was beautiful and amazing, perfect for a family of four or five. The dining option was alright and convenient if one does not want to leave the hotel but for the price paid, the food was nothing outstanding and the service was slow. The breakfast option was great although we were given false information by the receptionist that it was included in our booking so during checkout I was unpleasantly surprised with the extra amount. We had to ask for soap in the room as both the bottles in...

"This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay."
