"Health and safety issues with the sauna. Shower pipes in the changing rooms are leaking bad. In the first room they had to put a portable heater in the room because the heating wasn't working? I feel so sorry for the staff. Their holding Thier heads up high to a hotel that needs a complete refurbishment. How they can charge this amount for the state of this hotel is beyond me . I hope the main owners read this and go pay this hotel a visit. And to thank they're employees for the wonderful work...

"On arrival greeted well and check in seamless. Lift to room was in need of some tlc. The room was initially ok without doing a four in a bed style check. On returning in the evening when i went for s shower the complementary body wash had been topped up with water not what you'd expect at all. "We had a great time at The Carnoustie hotel in a deluxe golf view room with balcony. Some things were a little worn but it didn’t spoil our stay. Balcony was lovely to sit out on and the view over the course was amazing. There were some renovations going in but they didn’t affect us. Staff were amazing and couldn't be bettered. Loved our stay"
