"We had a room level with steps leading to two churches and next to two bars and nightclubs. Noisy! Also, our neighbor in the room next door had a cough, which we could hear loud and clear throughout the night. The staff is excellent; the breakfast is mediocre at best. We recommend the hotel due to the outstanding location."

"The hotel has fantastic views across the bay and also when it’s clear, of Etna. It perfectly located if you want to go up Etna, as only 30 mins away and also good for day trips to Taormina. "Decided to splash out and spend a night in a better hotel having already paid for 3 nights in a different hotel which we did not like. The main reason was the pool. Sadly when we arrived the pool was not open, and would not be until May. I really think this should be explained prior to booking as the main photos are the pool.
