"Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. "I thought it was on a beach, but its across the street from a beach. I found out the locals dont really go into that beach. Also its close to the airport which waa nice but its far from everything. Its definitely a place to spend 1 or 2 nights just for the aesthetics. It rained the first night so the view was superb. Even at day break and dusk the view is amazing. There is no tv so we had to find other things to pass the time. "

"Blue Whale Villa was a great place to stay, our only downsides were that it is a bit far from things on the island, but we were alright with the drive and happy with the place. There was also just a very lightly stocked kitchen, and a few more bowls, or cooking utensils would be nice. Otherwise the stay was great! We stayed here for two weeks and never had complaints about the whole island! I would recommend renting a car if you have multiple days here and want to go to the stuff to the south,...
