"The hotel was lovely, location is convenient to get to the town centre, with a shuttle service from the hotel to the town available throughout the day. We went during off season so a lot of the on-site dining options weren’t available but they did still have one restaurant open. The spa facilities were great, very reasonably priced and the free parking was greatly appreciated as we did hire a car. "This is THE place to stay! This piazza is the main place in the whole of Mantua, and you'll be right next to everything. I was charmed to find myself in a room the size of an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. I was less than charmed to find out that the Italian passion for saving energy meant that the washing machine and stove are turned off unless one stays for a month. "Check in was quick but the attendant wasn’t friendly. We were looking for ice and all he had to say was - no ice. My room didn’t have a shower head, lacked a set of robes and slipper which I had made the staff aware. "

"Very nice convenient location near train station and downtown . Located in a complex of vintage buildings with interior courtyard for parking ( euro 15 per day). Very clean nicely decorated rooms, typical European breakfast service. Polite staff"

"Quiet, residential area on outskirts of Mantova. Apartment had all you needed. Spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately WiFi was temperamental. However if you sat in car at roadside it was great! "
