The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get out and I was contemplating stealing a pillow they were that good. My kids loved the pool and the shower pressure. We will definitely be staying here again. "Our cottage at The Black Sparrow was cosy and warm for our winter getaway. It was clean and comfortable and everything worked well. It was quiet and set in a beautiful location. We arrived when it was dark, so the narrow dirt roads were a little difficult to navigate and additional lighting might have helped. Overall, a fantastic place to stay for a few nights, very peaceful and private and just as close to Mt Buller for skiing as the more expensive Mansfield. Thanks!"

"Right on the ski field (can literally walk out door and you are there). But Hotel in less than optimal condition: cracks in some windows on main doors, tired condition generally, rooms about a 3* condition. Bathroom poor condition (bath did not even drain properly - bath maybe installed on an angle?). Quite expensive for its quality. Not sure the high premium for staying there is worthwhile."

"at first we were worried as Wombat Hills was further from Mansfield than we thought, however Norm was incredibly welcoming and the accommodation was clean with all you could need, the facilities were simple and practical - the view was exceptional. We loved our stay."

"We had a great stay at Jarrah Lodge this weekend! Being peak ski season, we were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the price was for what the house offered. 7 adults had more than enough room, with lots of amenities, and a big kitchen and two spacious living areas! Only negative was that there is no WiFi and 6/7 phones had no reception (Telstra the only provider that worked). Not a huge issue, but we weren't prepared for that! Will definitely be returning.
