"Overall a good experience. Next to a 24hours bus service ( Route 31 ) bus stop allow access to Oslo city center in about 25min. Great pathways to walk around and cycling. Hike along the lake at the rear of the hotel is a plus. "

"The property was easy walking distance from Oslo Central train station and you could easily access the waterfront and many restaurant options. We had two quiet nights. The breakfast was wonderful but opens a little too late on the weekends for people with early trains. We would stay here again!"

"Hotel is very nice. An excellent location and service was good. Great breakfast. One issue I have is that the information was not very clear on the use of the spa and pool. Hotels.com advertises this but there is no clear information that there is an additional charge. One reason we chose the hotel was the spa/pool but to pay nearly £50 for two people to use this is extortionate. "

"We had a good stay at the Vulkan although the room was looking a little “tired” round the edges. For a hotel that would be used by a lot of tourists, they had a strangely early breakfast time during the week - finishing at 0930! Location is excellent however with easy walking distance to Grunerlokka for great bars/restaurants and even into Oslo city centre along the Akerselva river."
