"Check in was really good, two staff members were very helpful, cheery and smiled. Rooms are very clean, beds are amazing, lovely shower. Breakfast was excellent and great to be able to take breakfast at 7am before leaving for Port. Staff helpful with travel questions and arranging taxi. Also helped with laundry cleaning and providing the service for cheap €12. Amazing staff member on check out, same as check in, greeted with a smile and very helpful arranging a taxi to Port. "

"This hotel is as stated above is well situated for the beach (which is very narrow) and all local bars and shops. Gouves is a pleasant resort but spread over a large area comprising of the seafront, two streets with shopping and bars/restaurants, and about a mile of seafront with shops and restaurants, spread thinly along the front. We were the only British people in the hotel, all the other guests were eastern european and Russian. This was in no way a problem to us as they were all well...

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! "Beautiful property! Peaceful feeling. Breakfast and Dinner included. Food was amazing. Service was great. The staff was amazing and fun! Only down side was many of the amenities in the kitchen area did not work. For example the tea kettle didn't work and the fridge shut off when the key was removed for the electric. "

"Such a welcome! The people running this hotel are very friendly. I visited end of October with my 10y daughter. She could play in the kids club twice a day (except Wednesday) and has a little kids disco in the evening. There isn’t much to do in the resort so this is a ‘quiet, relaxing holiday’ the beach area behind the hotel was lovely. If you want any ‘life’ Heraklion is 15min cab away for €14 with lots of shops and restaurants. I loved this holiday. "
