"Lovely modern hotel. We had a superior room and it was faultless! The location is tricky - just outside the Sotogrande gated community with a busy main road to walk down to get to pathways - it is however possible! Taxis are ready and waiting at the hotel but you pay 30euros return for a trip to the port. Hotel is definitely worth a stay and especially if you hire a car! "

"Amazing service, friendly and helpful staff even if some if them don’t speak English they make the effort to understand and help you. The rooms are spacious, clean and airy. The only thing is that it would’ve been nice to have a different breakfast every morning as its gets a bit boring if you are staying there for over two days. "My 4th stay and possibly the best room so far with port and sea view. Very irritating doors banging day and night from other rooms. I suspect this was due to failing pneumatic door stays although some of the banging was purely from inconsiderate guests. Also sad to note That San Miguel beer was the only beer on tap. Must be the worst beer going. I understand this is because of the negotiated contract with drink suppliers. CruzCampo Special or something similar would be much better."

"I fully understand that the star ratings are very contradictory. Please let me explain: I've stayed in this hotel approx 15 times and everything is great. However, there was a crucial, huge problem this time which made staying there very unpleasant. I am independently taking this matter up with Expedia as I repeatedly tried to get some advice and support, but got nowhere so I shouldn't comment on this here. "Really bad experience here on one night - very good on another. The problem here is that they book weddings - fair enough, but it should not affect guests that pay good money for a peaceful stay. We did not get this - noise from wedding guests (children and adults shouting in foyer and loud music until 3am). Complained 3 times. As a result we got up late, but not so late according to their advertised breakfast time (until 11am, we were there at 1040). There was literally nothing left except some...
