The area right around the hotel is planted with ginkos and maples that have vibrant colors and the trip from Weinheim to Heidelberg on Route 3 and the local castle park are also nice for fall foliage. Tram 5 stops 100 meters away so you can visit Heidelberg or Mannheim with no parking challenges. The fitness facility is the best of any hotel -- it is actually a large training center for personal trainers...

"A short walk to the city, the hotel was wonderful - the staff were a pleasure and all multi-lingual, the room was great and comfortable (and quiet)... but the best part was that it is barely a ten minute stroll into the city centre and the dining and shopping options that provides."

"The atmosphere of the hotel was beautiful, staff are so welcoming and friendly. They were knowledgeable and helpful in offering us suggestions of sites to see and places to eat. They had umbrellas, hair dryer, iron and ironing board which one needs on holiday. Having a mini fridge in the room was great so we could have additional drinks we could keep cold. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Frankenthal."
