"Its a heritage property in a very nice area of Darj. However, the property is poorly maintained and it has musty smell in the rooms. Also the plumbing and maintenance is wanting in the rooms. "

"Room was large and comfortable. Only drawback was the number of flights of stairs necessary to get to it. Hotel was very convenient to get to the Mall and it was on a road that transport could drive up to the front door which is often not the case with other hotels in Darjeeling."

"The hotel was beautiful, an old colonial atmosphere in a very comfortable setting, with great views of Kalimpong. Staff were very attentive and the Indian food in the restaurant was excellent. This was our second visit to the hotel, which we fully recommend and look forward to returning for future trips. "
