"Nice apartment on oldest street in Melk. Easy to follow instructions for entry. Clean and convenient. Window opened onto Main Street. Loved the town of Melk and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Modern and equipped kitchen for prep of simple meals. Easy walk to train station and bus stop."

"The room and furniture was outdated and needed maintaining especially the bed was terrible to sleep in since the mattress extremely soft. Bottom line I slept in the car and just used the bathroom and was very happy to leave!"

The staff were generally unable to converse in English and thus I had to use my broken German to try to get by - this resulted in my interactions with all but one person (a waitress at breakfast) being terse and cold - which is not/not typical for Austrians.
