"I wanted to a romantic, traditional mountain retreat and the Auberge was perfect. Our room had a small garden where we could sit and have a coffee and stare at Mont Blanc and watch the sun and moon light the peaks. The room is cozy and the bathroom has a whirlpool type bathtub. "Nice staff and had a great room. Pool facilities and views from rooms very nice. A little bit far from town. Longer walk especially with luggage. Plan for a scheduled taxi to take your form town center (Bus stop) to hotel. Distance also makes a bit of a challenge to walk into town for dinners. If you have a car then no issues although parking is minimal in the town center. The hotel is modern and newer so that is a benefit and it is close to the tunnel to Mont Blanc."
