"We liked our stay at La Pagerie a lot. It’s an easy walk from the ferry, and in a busy lively area. The staff spoke good English, and check in was easy. Our room had good air conditioning and a big comfy bed. The balcony and coffee making area was also a nice addition. The grounds were well maintained - look for the pet tortoise’s little pen! "Check-in was very quick and easy. She was extremely friendly and ensured we had help to the room with luggage and a cab when we were leaving. Downside was some service in the hotel restaurant. One of our waitresses was not the friendliest maybe because we don’t speak French but the others were nice. The one waitresses smiled and seemed attentive to those who did speak French based on what I saw. The room had all the amenities and is in a nice little area to walk around and watch boats coming in...

"The room was huge! Separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate shower, large open concept kitchen, living room. Large balcony with great ocean view. Crickets at night. We stayed one night; before our cruise. Would stay there again. Only downside was we had to check out at 12 noon (which is still reasonable) but our embarkation is only at 5. We could have extended our stay but at 15 euros per hour. In CDN$ that’s quite steep."

"Quiet, a bit dated. The beach was closed off from the hotel because it was "broken", so we were told. But you could get to it by walking through the town a ways. There was a great pâtisserie across the street, and a small grocery store was next door, both very convenient. There was a small kitchenette on the balcony of our room which was nice to keep food cold and heat stuff up in the microwave. Staff was great, tho some did not speak English, thank goodness for Google Translate. Pool was nice...

"This was a very beautiful property, felt very authentic and well kept. The front desk lady (Kincy) was spectacular, she was very helpful and very kind. She went above and beyond to satisfy the customers with a very welcoming attitude. The cleaning ladies and waiters were also very nice and professional but warm. I would definitely recommend this establishment. The location is a bit remote but with a car nothing is really far. It is nice and quiet! "
